England

A country steeped in both sucess and failure, and hated by many, loved by few.

Lets take it's people for example, there are some amazingly decent people in England. There are great comedians, fantastic actors and brilliant musicians.

However, these are few and far between, for every good person, there are 20 'chavs' (the lower breed of society who have corrupted England, and make me loathe my own country)

I think however, you can say this about every country, for the American's perhaps its the 'redknecks'. For the scottish, perhaps its also chavs.

I think everyone that has seen the other's descriptions clouded in hate, you should really think to yourself; is it right to stereotype an ENTIRE nation, based on the acts that you SEE in the media.

For example, you probably didn't know that Stephen Hawking would only be alive thanks to our health service?

That wasn't publicised much, because people love to hate and they always will.

Lose the crumpet, tea, teeth etc stereotype and make some judgments for yourself, instead of the crappy view the media presents you.

If your so much better people, then you shouldn't judge like that :-)
England has its up and down's, our support for other's has corrupted our gene pool and ruined our country. There is still some good left, and that should be nurtured, not ignored.

Japanese English

Almost the reverse of Japanglish. These are words invented by the Japanese to literally emulate English, but are totally confusing to native English speakers
Paper Driver = Licensed Driver w/o a car.
Service = Free item
Cunning = Cheating on Tests
Smart = Slender

England

A country that is often said be posh twats that have bad teeth and love tea and cricket.

THIS IS A DAMNABLE LIE.

Multiple cities such as Liverpool are far from being posh. Like, at the other end of the universe far.
However, we contributed greatly to music (i.e. The Beatles). We discovered America. We love sports. We actually know how to take a joke.

Why don't you try living here before you diss it , eh?
"What's England like? Uhh, s'alright... We've got, uh, Nectar Points. They're quite handy. Um... we've got understatement... We're tough on slogans, tough on the causes of slogans... We have strong prevailing south-westerly winds... 52% of our days are overcast, so as a nation we're infused with a wistful melancholy, but we remain a relentlessly chipper population prone to mild eccentricity, binge drinking and casual violence. Breakfast is served 7 til 9."

Do you speak English?

What do you call someone who speaks two languages? Bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks only one language? An American. The question is pretty much how Americans traveling abroad greet the locals.
Saying "Do you speak English?" can either get you around or get you kidnapped, tortured, killed and having your family discover your fate on CNN anywhere around the world. Asking the question is ok in a place where you see a McDonald's. It is not ok and you should avoid places where electricity and potable water are a luxury to ask the question.

Englimatics

the science of combining English and mathematics to solve problems. Using each subject as a bridge to learn the other.
To englimatize basic mathematics, think of +, -, x. / as verbs. They are the action words in math problems. The 'numbers' are the 'nouns'. Students should always begin by identifying the nouns and the associated verbs to understand what 'actions' need to take place.

When writing an essay or doing math homework, look for the connecting Englimatics to make both assignments easier to complete.
