Summer All-American

Someone who is a college runner that visits Boulder or Flagstaff during the summer and only talks about being All-American in cross country. These athletes usually hammer easy runs, finish outside the top 150, or never make it to nationals.

We all know

Yeah, Amy. You do. You all know that I could frost donuts harder. BUT... Why would I want to? I don't want YOU to have to frost donuts. But you CLEARLY want me to have to sit here and frost donuts. Why? Because it makes your life easier. Not mine. I live in abject poverty, I was lied to about the availability of full time employment and turned down another offer to get it, and I have been (and this is ALSO something you all know) harassed here at the place. You also know where this is being sent and RATHER THAN... Telling me that... YOU are trying to keep me here. This is just incarceration except without a trial. Even Noah got a trail before they locked him up in a group home.

Hym "We all know that it is a waste of my time for me to even be here in the first place, Amy. Why even waste your own time trying to appeal to me? I'm at 0 right now. I'm either going to go down to -1 and it will be because I start stabbing indiscriminately until I am killed. OR I'm going to go up to 1 and THAT is only going to happen if I get the credit I deserve and am compensated for my extracurricular contribution to society. I don't really care either way. I mean I do love to stab... But I also like to be exalted as a hero... But I'm pretty ambivalent about it."
