Tilt-A-Hurp

another name for the Tilt-A-Whirl amusement ride that is a large contributor to the amount of vomit and vomit-smells at county fairs, amusement parks, and small carnivals.

Me and Joey went on the Tilt-A-Hurp at the Firemen's Fair over at Middleville, and it smelled like baked used pizza near the garbage pail.

A turboprop aircraft that is a hybrid between a plane and helicopter.

The USMC's MV-22 Osprey, and a widely-used form of transportation used by Section 9 in the anime series, "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" are two examples of a tilt rotor.
