When you ask your coworker to buy Heroin laced acid but are planning to snitch them out once they buy it.

Person 1: My coworker sold me acid and cops showed up as soon as I was going to hand her the cash

Pulling a Komaeda

Nearly killing yourself ,but tricking someone else into accidentally being the one to finish you off and kill you. You also make the scene of your death look like a brutal murder even though it was almost a suicide to attempt to get the person who finished you off punished for the crime they were tricked into committing.

Person 1: You hear about Bob's death?
Person 2: Yeah I heard he tried Pulling a Komaeda.
Person 1: Didn't he try to get Charlie arrested?
Person 2: Yep. Luckily for Charlie the police were able to uncover what Bob was trying to do and he wasn't arrested.
