Drunk Texting

When someone texts you, but they begin to misspell simple words such as 'the' and 'that'.

There are many ways to know that someone is drunk texting you, such as the culprit posting 'Going out for a drink or two' as his or her facebook status a little earlier. Or by your friend bringing up old stories from their past childhood, or even when they begin to put 'lol' or 'hahah' a lot more.

- Text Alert goes off -

Andrea: Oh cool, a new message from Janelle. (reads to herself) " Hey remember thaert time where you knocefrfked your little sisdter out with a recorsd?"

- Andrea thinks to herself : Who gave her the George Dickle again, she has got to be drunk texting. -

when you are texting someone and someone else is talking and you listen for a short moment before you get involved in a text and forget what their talking about

P1: Hey you wana hear a story?
P2: (while texting) Yea, sure
P1: Ok, so last night i was dancing and.....

texting schedule

the time(s) of day that a person is available, and/or willing, to text. usually defined by how late a person sleeps in, how late they stay up and how much they nap during the day.

knowing a person's texting schedule lets you almost surely get a reply when you text the person and reduces the risk of interrupting something or waking them up.

dude, lemme know your texting schedule so i don't wake you up on the weekends anymore!

Texting Trance

When someone is so deep in conversation via text messaging they are in a trance. Usually happens when figuring out plans with friends or texting about last night drunken escapades.

Guy 1: "I was out to lunch with my girlfriend today and she totally went into a texting trance, I had to shout her name for her to look up from her phone"
Guy 2: "who do you think she was talking to?"
Guy 1: "I don't know man, but she was giggling enough and and muttering about jello shots. She probably was retelling our crazy night last night *winks*
Guy 2: "who takes jello shots outside of college?"
