Planking

(A posture assumed on an escalator, in which the forearms are rested upon the moving rail, and the ankles to the parallel rail. The body appears as if it is a board stretched across the escalator on the way down, or up. This resembling a wooden board (a plank) stretched across the rails. The goal is to position the body as straight as possible, and utilize ones upper and lower body strength to this advantage.

Variations:

(1) "Planking to Hell": When the act is performed on the downward moving escalator.
(2) "Planking to Heaven": When the act is performed on the upward moving escalator
(3) "Ride the Plank!": The act of encouraging another to go planking.

"Dude we should totally hit the mall and go planking."
