Slang for light infantry, paratroopers or any other dismounted grunt. Refers to the sound that their bones make when being crushed by the tracks of a tank or APC as they are run over.

Run that jerry crunchy over! (WWII era)

Run that towel-headed haji crunchy over! (iraq era)
