Founded under the control of Richard Marcinko, who founded SEAL Team 6 as well, this unit was later decommissioned due to complaints that the operations conducted by Red Cell were too rough and out of control of officers in charge of the military bases. Red Cell played a little too dirty for their likings. Let's hope that real terrorists play nice enough for them so they can be prepared to deal with it.
