Loving you or caring for you wasnt the hardest part for me. The hardest part was letting you go and realizing that my love alone wasn’t enough for you. My last act of love for you is letting you go. And I know it will hurt while doing this, but it is the best option if I really did love you. However, I still do love you. That’s why it is so difficult to let you go. I really wanted to fight for us, our relationship. I want you to perceive me as loyal and loving. But I saw the slowly disappearing love you had for me. I saw the distance that slowly appeared too. I saw it in your actions that you didn’t perceive me as your love or the one. And I knew that maybe something was off, maybe you wanted more than just me. And I knew that your heart was located else where. So like I said, as my last act of love for you, I decided to just let go. I haven’t let go fully, but slow and steadily I will. This isn’t because I have no love for you, which I love you so much, it is more of because that your love is no longer existing for me. And maybe just one day, you will notice how much effort I have put into our relationship, and maybe you’ll also understand that me letting go was my last I love you to you.
