(not offensive and non-sexual term):

a person who outwardly looks unfriendly, but once you get to know them better, they are actually well-intentioned but shy and clumsy, yet trying to help others out.

I know quite a few people who can be qualified as a banana. This definition stems from the facts that banana peels on the street can make you slip and hurt yourself (the person looks unfriendly) but the fruit itself is sweet and tasty (the person is shy, clumsy and trying to help others).

Brown Banana

A person of color who is enamored with Asian culture. Often can be heard quoting My Hero Academia lines in Japanese, always throw up a peace sign when they take a photo, make homemade ramen and kimchi, and solely date people of an Asian persuasion.

Look at Israel snacking on dehydrated squid with his Korean girlfriend. He's such a brown banana.
