A car made in japan. Usually a family sedan, but has a performance version(a couple of them) that pumps out an "astonishing" 310-330 bhp (rated 280 from factory). Obsessed over by asian-americans who believe its the fastest car ever. Sport Compact Car's reputation dropped after it called the NISMO Z-Tune R-34 Skyline the fastest production car in the world. Firstly it's not really a production car as around 20 will be made. And then I'd like someone other than NISMO test that car and explain to me how 3500 lb car with 500 bhp runs a 10 second 1/4 mile. Gay japanese people.

Asian schoolboy: "Have you heard about the NISMO R34 Z-Tune? It's the world's fastest production car! (I'm also gay, and confident in asians' superiority as a race)"
Someone who actually knows about cars: "Shut the fuck up already. If that's a production car then RUFs, Gemballas, Lingenfelters, Hennesseys and other tuned cars should be considered production also. And you know that shitbox skyline won't stand-up to any of those."

A decent AWD twin turbo sports coupe produced by Nissan which is not sold (unless imported) in the United States. The release of the Gran Turismo games and Fast and the Furious movies has given this car a mythical aura in the view of teenagers and young adults who are into the import scene. They view it as the end all be all of automotive technology, imbued with JDM sweetness by the hands of god himself, to which no other vehicle can compare. Of course, much of this is owed to the fact we don't get it here in the United States, if we did, it wouldn't be quite as cool.

Young Billy became quite distraught on the realization that there are indeed domestic cars that outperform the legendary Nissan Skyline.

Nissan Skyline GTR

The king of the imports.
Here's why:
Fast
Looks amazing
very tough to customize to the point of rice.
Makes all Civic 'tuners' *cough*ricers*cough* with their 'mad tyte whips' shake in their shoes.

up until the current model, Skylines had to be grey-imported to the US and modified by Motorex to meet safety/emission standards. that company shut down when the head was indicted on kidnapping charges. any Skylines (Pre-R35) you see will be either kit cars or Motorex.

now the age old question.
WILL A SKYLINE BEAT A CORVETTE.
probably not. definately not in a straight drag race because, having FWD (or 4WD), they wont have as much momentum on the launch as the RWD Corvette.
also, the Vette probably handles/accelerates better. but until an expert compares them, we will never know.

Nissan Skyline GTR is an awesome car but the Vette is better, the Z06 is much better, and the ZR1 pwns all

The word stylin is used commonly in new jersey/ny, stylin just simply meanss bugged out, or being rude/disrespectful. Buggin or "bugged out" is another term notifying that someone needs to chill or calm down simply because they said or did something that was either disrespectful or unordinary.
