Severna Park

A poor man's Laguna Beach. It's a pretty nice place to live; a nice family town on a really nice river. It's an all-white, preppy, conservative haven. Michael Jordan almost moved there. Pat Sajak does. The Bawltimer Ravens owner lives here and graduated from SPHS. That brings up the worst thing about SP - It's a suburb of Bawltimer.

So, unfortunately for the kids that grow up there, even though they think it's the hottest place ever, it's far, far from being the ultimate rich white la-la-land that they would have you believe. To say that it pales in comparison to Beverly Hills, Laguna Beach, Highland Park (Dallas), Greenwich, Westchester, etc. is a gross understatement.

But, hey, if you've been sentenced to life in Bawltimer, then Severna Park is the best place to be. Sorry, but Bawltimer County is WAY too Jewish. ;)

Hott pretty blonde girl from SP - "Like, I totally live in the kitschyest place in the world"

Me - "No way, I'm from Beverly Hills too"

severna park

this is just in response to the person who stated that Anne Arundel Community College is in SP. I'm sorry friend but you obviously don't know your surrondings very well because the college is down College Parkway... in ARNOLD. Although everything was acurate about the Park, I just wanted to clear that up because well you make the rest of us parkies look stupid because you can't distinguish SP from Arnold.

ps. Severna Park is full of rich kids, great athletes, moms who drive SUVs and go tanning daily, great small businesses, skaters, druggies, dorks, and snobs. You name it we got it. But mostly we stand out with our popped collars, bmw's, and kids spending mommy and daddy's money. I'm not a fan, but I've lived here my whole life. Can't diss a place unless you've lived here, so all y'all from other schools have nothing to say, cuz you're not stuck here!!

get up, practice a sport, shower, pop that collar, and hop on your boat for a day of wakeboarding and tanning ... welcome to severna park life

seeker

Medical slang for a person who turns up to a doctor's clinic or hospital emergency department apparently in extreme pain, who really just wants a dose of morphine or pethidine. Often associated with many horrible past and present life experiences that would usually elicit sympathy but not at 2 am on night shift.

Triage nurse: "That guy says he has a kidney stone but I think he's a seeker. I've put him down as category 3."
Intern: Let's hope he gets bored and buggers off to some other ED, or at least gets seen by someone other than me."
