'quitimate' was coined as a response to the quip 'too legit to quit'. 'too legit to quit' refers to something too good to stop (or an MC hammer song), and 'too legitimate to quitimate' is a knockoff or mockery of this.

1. The point at which one's frustration level has been pegged and they can no longer deal with the situation at hand and decide to give up or do something irrational to retaliate against whatever is causing you to rage quit.

2. To get so pissed off at a video game that you throw the controller down and say "Screw you guys, I'm going home!"

3. To get so pissed off at traffic that you fantasize about re-enacting scenes from Grand Theft Auto in real life while in reality you are pulled over to the side of the road pulling your hair out about to go on a killing spree.

4. The most enraged state a human being can reach before going full scale meltdown on you.

Example 1:
Person 1: Hey did you see Justin walk out of work today? He didn't even clock out, he just walked out, slammed the door, and sped off in his car without saying a word.

Person 2: Yeah I think he just decided to rage quit.

Example 2:
Gamer: I swear to God if one more camper snipes me, I'm going to rage quit and destroy this controller.
*walks into room and gets killed by camping sniper's claymores*
Gamer: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*throws controller through TV screen*

Example 3:
Driver: Damn this Chicago traffic, if one more person cuts me off I am going to just run them off the road, drag them out of their car, and beat them to death!
*some chick cuts him off*
Driver: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*pulls over to side of the road and pulls hair out whilst banging head on steering wheel*
Passenger: Are you ok, bro?
Driver: Yeah, I just need to rage quit for a while.

Example 4:
Party goer 1: Hey bro, did you see Jake just walk out of the party? He really looks pissed off I think you should talk to him.
Party goer 2: No dude, I don't think he wants to see anyone right now, He just rage quit I think he needs to just blow off some steam.
