semi by the sea

An innocuous name for an erection (or 'semi hardon').

The phrase originated from the James Blunt song 'Wisemen'. In which, 'Those three Wise Men' are cited as having 'a semi by the sea' (of course, in reality, they are referring to a semi-detached house).

The word has become increasingly used among British and some American internet forums.

"Oh my god...these photos of Keeley Hazel are giving me a full on semi by the sea lolololol"

Semi-Asian

Someone who looks Asian, but not completely...only Semi. So you argue with your best friend about his Asianness and come to the decision that he is Semi-Asian. Further probabilities include...he probably wears basketball shorts, random t-shirts and has eyes hidden by louscious locks.

Alex likes to wear cute maroon shirts and black basketball shorts. He doesn't care to shower very often and he doesn't care because he is a rebellious youth. Yes, his hair covers his eyes and he is cute but quite mean. He may possibly be Brazilian but he is not completely Asian looking either so he is Semi-Asian.
