Used while ordering a beverage - alcoholic - to be consumed straight; without ice; accompanied only by the glass which surrounds it. Often used by men wanting to impress a woman - or another man. Often used by those who think they are better than others. Used by those who know nothing special - other than this unique word - around average to above-average folk who don't need to use such words because they don't flaunt their knowledge. Used by wannabe bartenders or egomaniacal bartenders when ordering - even if the drink tastes like piss 'neat' - just to impress another bartender, or waitress/waiter, with their flashy bar grammar.

Josh: "I'd like a peach schnapps NEAT please."
Bartender: "Would you like it in a glass or over your head putz?"

First heard, August 24th, during closing shift at a large international clothing retailer, in reference to a request though can be used in different contexts.

"please neatinize the store" I.e. ensure that everything is neat, everything in its palce.
"Jon Doe needs to neatinize his hair down there, as it is like going on a hunting expedition to find the goods!"

a person who is always negative and pessimistic and disagrees about everything a person or group of people say just to get attention or be an asshole.

Negative Nathan

When your playing an online video game and someone on your team or the other team is consistantly having a negative Kill/Death Ratio, weather it be a friend, or the noob your pawning, or both. As a result in them always being negative you can call them a Negative Nathan. They also usually think they are the shit at the game they are playing, which is most often the opposite. Term works best if your friends name happens to be Nathan.

Dude stop trying so hard at the game and just play you Negative Nathan
