1. The silent relization that seriously learning real Japanese may actually be the hardest thing you have ever tried to do.
Often mixed with the angry realization that nobody ever actually taught you fucking english, so why even compare the goddamn grammars!?

2. Secretly deciding to learn Japanese anyways, regardless of the cost. (you know, like the 47 Ronin!)

Otaku usually get nihongagged after buying a $60 Kanji Dictionary and Essential Grammar book and trying to read it all in one sitting. (you know, like a novel)

I'm feeling a little nihongagged right now, but watching Ghost in the Shell 2 again should loosen me up.
