Someone who doesn't practice what they preach.

Someone who claims to hate something they do all the time, but makes lengthy excuses as ti why they do not qualify as that thing.

She's such a hypocrite. She spent the entire class talking about the evils of Capitalism, then durting lunch, she got out her latest-model iPhone & bought tickets for 3 Disney movies from Fandango.

A person who tells somebody not to do something or do something, then proceed to do the opposite. Also known as grade 8´s.

Person 1: No playing video games! Person 1 plays video games. Person 2: You are such a hypocrite.

Hypocrite

Sanctimonious person: Someone, that despite others tragedies, does nothing, takes no action nor speaks out or says a word at all, until something (the same exact misfortune i.e. tragic mass shooting) happens to them!

The people, blaming & wanting to outlet guns that have been in production since 1959, that are marching on Washington are nothing more than self righteous hypocrites that only decided to take action when hardship befell them!
