A band which are playing and all members face each other, regularly with their backs to the crowd, hence the punters looking in at them like goldfish in a bowl.

They didn’t embrace the crowd. They are a Goldfish-Band.

This is such a Goldfish-Band!

I went to a local gig last night. There were a few Goldfish-Bands there though.
