Special Debate

A highly specialized, often technical debate conducted within a specific professional, academic, or subcultural community, using its own unique standards, terminology, and forms of evidence. To outsiders, it sounds like esoteric bickering.

Example: "The special debate in the theoretical physics seminar was over the holographic principle's implications for a specific black hole entropy calculation. To the room, it was a gripping, high-stakes intellectual duel. To the janitor mopping outside, it sounded like two wizards arguing in Elvish."

Bending Debate

Manipulating the format, rules, or flow of a debate to guarantee a tactical advantage or predetermined outcome. This includes filibustering, demanding impossible standards of proof from one side only, controlling the microphone time, or constantly redefining the topic. It's not debating to find truth; it's debating to win a performance, where the stage itself is sloped in your favor.

Example: "The moderator was accused of bending the debate by only following up on the challenger's points with aggressive fact-checks, while letting the incumbent's vague platitudes slide. Master Debating

Master debating is an activity that young college students can engage in; notable examples include Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro.

It usually involves a person sitting near a university, and offering people the chance to debate with them over social issues such as gun laws, abortion rights, and political opinions

Becoming a master debater requires that you publish some of the footage online.

Eric Cartman: “These college girls are totally unprepared, so I can just destroy them and also edit out all the ones who argue back well.”

PTDD (Post Traumatic Debate Disorder)

A mental disorder that can develop after a person is exposed to a traumatic event, such as a Presidential Debate broadcast, Justice candidates nomination process in the Senate Judiciary Committee, Congressional Budget Act negotiations, or other threats on a person's mental health life.

People watching the debates on TV are overwhelming the health system, being affected with PTDD (Post Traumatic Debate Disorder)
