an emo girl is a girl who lisons to emo bands (like AFI and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE), wears emo outfits (like black hoodies and eyeliner with converse), and has emo hair (hair thats most likly short and choppy with long bangs over one eye dyed black), and has an emo-itional attitude.most emo girls are teenagers, emo girls dont only wear black but they wear black alot, emo girls also love watching emo boys make out and think its super sexy. whatever u do dont mix and emo girl with other labels she will get very mad keeping that in mind there's only probubly about 1 or 2 REAL emo girls in ur school. emo girls are also known for being shy and sensitive but not depressed ALL the time.

Emo Kid

A young middle schooler who realized that punk was bullshit but did not make a step further. Emo kids (also known as "stupid scenester punks") act depressed 24/7, key word is act. These young souls are often seen at Salvation Army Outlets, "shows" (what emo kids call concerts) and at Hot Topic. They only listen to music and bands that no one has heard of, because ofcourse if someone else knows about these bands, they obviously have sold out and now suck.

A group of people who R so depressed they decide to write songs about it. In between sobbing uncontrollably about there rich lifestyles and what shirt to wear, they write songs about there pain. The songs usually involve some kind of sick strange darkness or how she left me with my heart bleeding droplets of blood in the shape of people dying painfully
