When someone, usually in a public restroom, flushes the toilet before they sit down to use it. (Term can be used whether or not something was actually in the toilet that merited flushing.)

As I was contemplating life in the Wal-Mart bathroom a man walked into the stall next to mine, setting the table before he sat down.

"Sets" are refrences to street gangs. Set tripping is violent results from the confrontation of two rival gangs or gang members. Gang members identify eachother by tattoos, hand signs, and colors worn. Gang members or gangbangers rarley hesitate to attack another gang member who represents a rival gang.

Term used in regards to the introduction of a joke.
