A hybrid book of an artist's journal/ scrapbook/ photo album/ personal diary. The appeal of the book lies in the WORN handmade of the book, & the unique factor that EVERY page is unique and ONE OF IT's Kind & no two pages are alike. To qualify as a junk journal, the books themselves must be UNIQUE, handmade or one of it's kind(hand-altered store bought books also qualifies) . Each book itself CANNOT be replicated in it's exact ENTIRTY( ex: handdyed tye dyed pages, collaged pages, tickets to an old event, discontinued paper products, etc). Out-of-town travel for the primary purpose of visiting an automotive salvage yard on multiple consecutive days. Usually refers to self-serve or pick-a-part junkyards, where customer labor is required to procure purchases. On a typical junk-cation, you'll drive to the city with the awesome junkyard, spend the whole day pulling parts, crash at a motel, then come back the next day and do it again.
I'm going to Chilliwack this weekend and I think I'll make a junk-cation of it. There's just too much in that yard to do all in one day.

fat ol’ bob had some butt junk last night. he was itching his ass when he woke up, and pulled out a nice long hair. it’s weird, because he has extremely short hair. after lunch he went to take a nice piss, and a fart came out. he wiped his ass, and there was lint on the toilet paper. he left the restroom and had a nice ass itch, so he pulled down his pants, and there was toilet paper in his butt. he had a bean burrito with a nice soft taco, and took a nice shit. when he was in the bathroom, he found a small piece of skin in his underwear! go bob!
