Frosty Loops

The action of trying to figure out who a boy/girl likes or takes interest in. One could tell another to "Frosty Loop" someone, which would mean working together into finding his/her/robots crush.

"Dude who does Pamela like?"
"I don't know, lets Frosty Loops her"

fairy loop

The small loop of fabric on the back of a man's dress shirt is called a fairy loop. Created in the 1960's as a way to hang the shirt from a hook without creating wrinkles, its official name is locker loop. It is unclear how the term fairy loop came into use.

"Thanks, but no. I do not need a hanger, I will use the fairy loop to hang my shirt."

A term borrowed from engineering meaning that something is uncontrolled. In engineering, feedback is fed back into the input of a system to keep the output under control.

When a person has nobody to check their behavior, they are said to be "operating open-loop."

My kid was running open-loop at home while I was in Asia. Surprised the dog was still alive when I got back.

Friend Loop

The common phenomenon of discovering a chain of Facebook friends that starts with you and moves through strangers' friends lists that then loop back to you again.
Reinforces the "small world" feeling.

My co-worker wanted me to cross-friend his disc-golf buddy. Found out that he is friends with someone that is also friends with my wife's best friend in college. He started a Friend Loop
