construction engineer

Like a civil engineer, just not as up tight. They perform managerial tasks on the job site as well as design engineering (i.e. temporary structures). They spend a lot of time on the job site overseeing the actual construction of a project and making sure it gets finished in a cost efficient, safe, and timely manner.

The civil engineers don't like it when they find out that construction engineers make more money than they do!

think of an engine as a giant air pump. It gobbles up air from the atmosphere and dumps it into six cylinders. Inside each cylinder, the air is mixed with fuel that is sprayed in by the fuel injectors. The spark plug ignites, causing a small but powerful explosion. This explosion rapidly expands the air that is inside the cylinder, forcing the piston upwards. The piston is connected to the connecting rod which turns the crankshaft. The crankshaft spins and is connected to the transmission, driveshaft, rear differential, and finally, the rear axle and wheels.

Eugene's backpack

When a Eugene is seen with a backpack, one should run in the opposite direction as fast as possible. The common Eugene will often carry a number of things in his backpack, including a trench coat and a fedora. However, the main reason why Eugene's backpack is worrying is because he usually carries his AK-47 assault rifle with many extended clips. He makes sure that he has extra clips when he is planning a school event in the school hall.

Eugene's backpack contained a variety of items including his assault rifle. It was getting to the whole school assembly, and son we were worried about where those bullets would end up
"I saw a Eugene reach into his backpack and pull out a fedora. I ran as fast as I could in the other direction because I was worried about what he would whip out next."
"I was sitting next to a Eugene in class yesterday, when all of a sudden I see him reach into his backpack, I was extremely worried about what he would whip out, so I forced the teacher to let me go to the toilet before I got shot up"

Chickenhawk Engineer

A person works in the engineering field who discusses and debates the best way method to perform a given task, but then consciously avoids doing the actual work themselves.

"It is quite amusing how Mark got so heated in the arguement about how to architect that widget but then the next day he avoids actually performing the very tasks that he was describing" said Frank.

Max replies, "That is because he is a Chickenhawk Engineer. He will always get in arguements about how to solve a problem, but never gets involved in the actual work of implementing the solution."
