Donni

An incredibe person they are kind, sweet and gorgeous. However, no one would notice a Donni is as amazing as you would think. If you have a Donni in your life, make sure you show him/her how much you appreciate them. They are out going, slightly too noisy but when someone hurts them, they fall apart. They have a soft spot for memories and hold on to the past. One of the most lovely people you will ever meet but probably won't notice it. When they talk it is sarcastic and their humor is dark, sometimes they will slip out of line. Donni will never intend to hurt or harm anyone but it would seem like they deserve hate. Be kind to a Donni you don't know how hard they have it. Hold onto them and check how they are because their crazy ad funny outer layer is a cover of their insecurities even though they're stinning without knowing it. Hold onto a Donni because they will love you until the ends of the earth unconditionally, no matter what they're going through.

Technical Prima Donna (TPD)

A person considered to be vain, temperamental and/or conceited, usually believes that they possess knowledge that is exact or close to perfect. TPD’s typically have an aversion to menial tasks and systems due to a ‘god-complex’. Often found in Alumina refineries, titanium dioxide plants and sugar mills.

Gordon is such a Technical Prima Donna (TPD), he struts around with his sleeves rolled up, skiting his technical prowess whilst getting others to do his paperwork!

Donnie Darko

A very fun and funny movie to watch. It appears to convey very meaningful themes but is not much deeper than any other movie out there. It's worth watching the first time for the humor and worth repeat viewings for unraveling the story. I personally recommend viewing it with the deleted scenes.
As far as usage goes, this film is usually used as a stepping stone into other odd or cult films. People will either move on from this film to others or stick with it as the "pinnacle of cinematic achievement" People that have moved on from this film (myself included ) tend to hate the latter fans partially because of their closed views on cinema but mostly because they hate it when something they love begins to become more mass market.

Fan: Donnie Darko is the greatest movie ever.
Myself: No, not really.
Fan: You just don't understand it, it's so deep.
Myself: Whatever, I'm going to go watch a David Lynch movie.
