Someone: The age of consent exists for a reason
Neck beard: Umm actually the age of consent is a useless government rule that promotes double-standards for people of different ages and I know tons of thirteen year olds that are mature enough so... *proceeds to talk for the next two hours*

1. A person who you would describe as more than a friend but not a girlfriend or boyfriend. It become completely obvious that you have a umm...friend if you have to think for awhile before introducing them as a friend.

2. A person who you have no-strings-attached sex with.

1. Person A: Where's Andrew?
Person B: With Jenna his umm...friend.

2. Person A: So sex?
Person B: Sure but lets just be umm...friends.

A filler phrase used by pretentious twits in an attempt to increase the amount of time they can hear their own voice. Only used by the most self-important of people with feigned intelligence.

Well, according to the-umm-uhh hypothesis presented in my superior argument, the interstitial atonality of my voice is umm-uhh extremely irritating. Presently, I should um-uhh terminate my life force after realizing I'm a fucking idiot.
