Taster

One who indulges in alcohol/marijuana/drugs and the like only on occasion-- especially during social events. Tasters do not have as much experience as non-tasters with a given substance, since "tasting" is usually associated with gratifying oneself on a low-intensity level.

(During a toast at a formal fraternity event)
Nate: "Here's a special toast to all the tasters tonight! Let's live la vida loca!"

(During a standard college party)

truh-dish-uh-nl tey-ster: A person who is used to the way a traditional dish tastes and tries to find replacement ingredients to mimic the original taste of that dish and the process used to create it.

I’d call Anthony a traditional taster because he scours the markets to find ingredients to recreate the tastes of dishes he enjoyed on his trip to Vietnam.

So, to get your attention they’ll stoop to any level and provoke you with negativity just to trigger you and get a one-time reaction or response.
