A category of tags.

A repository of types of tags.

Tags are words that are used to classify information. However the context of the tag is absent.

Tagory is a way to classify the tag in a particular context.

For example New York may be a city, state or a vacation destination, financial center, news magazine, etc.

With tagory, context for a tag can be provided. So the tagory for New York for a vacation blog can be Vacation.

Blogs can use tagories to add context to their tags. This will make web searches more relevant.
