(noun) a person who does not take part in the act of smoking marijuana. This person is designated the title "sobernose" because he is better able to detect the scent released by the marijuana.

1. Scientific term for the person he makes sure his clients are having a good trip while on drugs.

The sobervisor is joining a party and doesn't do drugs or alcohol. The sobervisor looks after the people who are on drugs or alcohol. He makes sure that nothing is going out of control.

1. Luckily, Jim is the sobervisor, because Johnny is having a really bad trip.
