A blanket noun used to depict a person who has disappointed the accuser in some manner. Common uses include: when an individual exhibits imprudent, contingently unintelligent, foolish behaviour; describing individuals or groups of individuals who are prone to exhibiting generally unsavoury behaviour; a meaningless exclamation in frustration (similarly to how vulgar swear words are used by the lay on a daily basis).
The word itself, however, is more of an idiom or an exclamation; akin to the French “alors” or the English: “Rahhhh”.

It’s versitility is also evident through the substitution of words into remdog in order to further define the word. Examples of this include: “Rembitch” (someone being bitchy), “Remtrain” (someone who has so much promise but repeatedly dissapoints by being late, dirty and generally a bit crap - much like British public transport), “Remfawks” (someone who tries to blow up Parliament) or “Remdoge” (a posh Remdog).

Really remdog can mean what you want it to be so.... yeah

Bridge Keeper: “What is the airspeed velocity of an unladened swallow?”
Arthur: “A European or an African swallow?”
Bridge Keeper: “Er I don’t know that...”
Everyone: “REMDOG!!!”
