Stemming from South Orange County due to its dense Hispanic population, putanani is a fusion of puta, Spanish for bitch, and punani, meaning pussy. Its common use refers to someone being a "little bitch" or wuss for not completing an action. The word is commonly used in peer-pressuring someone. Using the word describes someone not only as a bitch but also as having a vagina.
