NT

Short form for “neurotypical”. Often used by people who identify as neurodivergent (ND) to refer to people whose cognitive, emotional, and/or sensory experiences are considered more “normal” by societal and biomedical definitions. In contrast to ND people, NTs do not have diagnoses related to neurological experience (eg autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, mental illness etc), and do not identify their experiences as different from the “norm”.

Used particularly frequently in online/social media neurodivergent communities.

“NT s need to educate themselves about disability justice.”

“Anyone else just feel less comfortable around NTs? I feel like I can’t be myself.”

Noun : an NT is someone who irresponsibly drinks themselves into a rediculous episode of stupidity.

VERB : To BE NT'ed means you have drank yourself retarded and will likely end up naked without you knowing it soon afterwards.

ADVERB : An Event (x) can be considered NT'ly if it somehow involved you ending up naked without knowing it.
