Limerick

Limericks are poems, or,
A verse of four, four, two, two, four:
Text's often obscene,
And rhymes always seen,
It's humorous refrains galore!
"The limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into space that is quite economical.
But the good ones I've seen
So seldom are clean
And the clean ones so seldom are comical."

Limerick

A synonym for joke, not to be confused with the poetic limerick, though they are similar in the fashion that both are meant to relate to humor.
"Ahh, marvelous, what a splendid limerick!"
