Chotch

A guy that tries too hard - usually with the ladies. Overdressed, overdone and in general "too much". A cheesy guy who tries to strut his stuff with the females - hitting on them when they clearly have no interest.

The term comes from the show Happy Days, where the character "Chachi" exemplified such behavior.

Catch all term for anything along the lines of a jerk, douchebag, sleaze, chauvanist, ranging from playful usage to deliberate dissing. It can be used to indicate that a guy is of less worth than the average human being - literally - or as a tease.

Teasing: "Dude! What are you WEARING?! You look like such a chotch! (laughs)"

Dislike: "I F***ing hate that guy! He is SUCH a chotch! I just want to punch him in the face."
