A person with traits similar to both a "bro" and a "hipster." Some of the traits they will assume are a defensive attitude, terrible tastes in music, tv, and music. There cigarette of choice is "Newps." Also there appearance will shift between high sports apparel and standard hipster gear.

Note: Beware, depending on their mood brosters can be very violent when called brosters.

Janet, I'm sorry to say this, but your roommate Clarissa is becoming such a broster, we can't hangout with her anymore.

Broster

IN some parts of South-East England, the word 'Broster' is used to describe something that has gone seriously wrong. The term was derived from one AS chemistry student who relentlessly dropped glassware by accident throughout the year. As the term became more widely used, to 'Broster something up' or 'brostered' became used for anything that has gone badly wrong, so it was no longer only applicable to broken glassware.
