She refused — but the wicked god shouted fireclouds and cast a spell “from the black thunderhead.” The bitter irony: they stole Yumalaiella’s memory so she didn’t even know what was wrong (and that she had the power to sing her siblings back to life). Well, one rainy day, a statue would lead her to the light.
