Williston is a small town in Levy County. The people of Williston try to keep a small town feel and attempt to repel big business. The city limits end at a strategic place on the east side of the town. The city attempts to not incorporate the minority populated area of the town by ending the city limits at the railroad tracks. Williston is a proud place for people who were born and raised there, however no outsiders are flooding the town or area due to no economic development.
