perpetual victim

A person who is constantly facing some sort of hardship or traumatic experience whether true, self-inflicted or completely false. Typically a person is a perpetual victim for the sake of evoking sympathy from others or being the constant center of attention. These hardships are usually extreme and can be (but are not limited to) life-threatening sicknesses, family sicknesses, deaths, natural disasters, financial loss, IRS auditing, relationship problems, etc.

We used to believe Vicki's problems were legitimate, then I started keeping track & realized if she really had all the medical problems she claims she does, then she would be dead by now. Now we all notice she has a different ailment every month & is looking for sympathy. Typical perpetual victim.

Verticalism

Verticalism is any form of discrimination or prejudice against shorter people in height, usually in the recreational environment of basketball. Verticalism can take the form of ideas and assumptions, stereotypes, attitudes and practices, physical barriers in the environment, or larger scale oppression. It is oftentimes unintentional and most people are completely unaware of the impact of their words or actions.

Hey Harsha, wasn't Venkatesh being hurtfully verticalist against Aryan the other day? He would continuously and intentionally dunk on him in order to emphasize his height privilege. He even went as far as to call out Aryan's short stature. Do you think he's aware of his verticalism? I hope Aryan's doing okay.

Disorientation one experiences while traveling around residential and commercial zones in and around a city. Feeling lost while driving around a location for the first time.

I would have made it to the bar mitzvah sooner, but my goddamn suburban vertigo put me going West on Oak St when I thought I was going East.
