Skimbleshank

An ear worm from a musical theatre production, usually from an unexpected part of a show that affects multiple members of the cast. In most cases, the song that is stuck in one's head is NOT a song one sings during a performance, but comes from a different part of the show. Inspired by the song "Skimbleshanks, the Rail Way Cat" from CATS, which tends to skimbleshank everyone.

Kate complained that she was being skimbleshanked by a song she didn't even sing in the show.
