In a general sense,it means to go from front to back. It originated in the south when southern blacks were speaking about pigs and hogs. The roota (rooter) is the nose of the pig. A pig uses it's nose to root up dirt. The word toota (tooter) has always been a term for booty. The nose of the pig is in the front,and the booty is in the back. Front to back.

Guy: Man,I'm hungry as hell!!!
Dude: I got ribs on the grill. Come through.

Guy: You ain't got to tell me twice. Boy,I'm so hungry,fuck a rib. I could eat a whole hog from the roota to the toota.

Rattata

(Noun) A small, purple, rat-like creature only found in the fictional world of Pokémon. Since 1999, these rodents have managed to destroy the childhoods of all those who have played the game (Pokémon) and lived on to tell the tale.

Being known to attack when making sudden sharp turns or riding a bicycle in tall grass, one can justify that this is one of the main reasons to why the teens of today are so irritated and, on occasion, extremely flamboyant (see 'scene kids'). It is also a major cause for severe mental disabilities due to the loud, sudden noises this creature brings when it appears.

AH FUCK! I'm out of repels. Alright... move very slowly. Don't make any sudden movements...

In American democracy, when the majority party has enough votes to pass populist legislation, party leaders designate a scapegoat who will refuse to vote with the party thereby killing the legislation. The opposition is otherwise inexplicable and typically comes from someone who is safe or not up for re-election. This allows for maximum diffusion of responsibility.

WTF??? Senator Lieberman now opposes the same health care compromise he himself suggested. Just when everyone thought Democrats had enough votes to get this done. Guess they made Lieberman the rotating villain...

Rotational Velocidensity

Rotational velocidensity affects all audio files encoded with lossy compression. These include mp3, aac, and ogg.

The most notable effect of rotational velocidensity is the loss of bitrate in files. A lossy audio file will lose an average of 12kbps a year. But, this can vary greatly depending on the type of storage media used.

Examples:

SATA HDD: ~12kbps
IDE HDD: ~15kbps
SCSI HDD: ~7kbps
DVD: ~16kbps
CD-R/RW: >21kbps

This can be overcome by compressing audio using lossless formats such as FLAC, APE, or TTA. These formats are designed to never lose quality over time, and will sound the same right now as they will in 10 years.

Josh found some old MP3s he used to listen to in high school. But was disappointed when they had degraded from 256kbps down to 64kbps due to Rotational Velocidensity.
