Proposition 8

Generally refers to California's Proposition 8 that was voted on in November 2008.

It banned same sex marriage in the state of California.

It passed with a 52:47 ratio, but was overturned in August 2010.

Proposition 8 was recently overturned by a judge.

In the case where the prepositional phrase “in bed” is added to the end of a fortune cookie saying, the entire phrase will always makes sense and could potentially make you more appealing to your date.

In an attempt to captivate and entice Jill, Matt applied the Prepositional-Proposition Theorem to his fortune cookie saying and announced “Your talents will be recognized and you will be rewarded...in bed.” Unfortunately, his date Jill was not impressed.

Constrain Proportions

The application or employment of a process or feature by which an artist will ensure both the ratio AND perspective of an image remain relative to that of the original image. Failure to "constrain proportions" has resulted in many innocent men being "duped" on internet dating sites (and the like), sustaining an eternal loss of essential "crop points."

A promotion when they wont say its a promotion, It gives you double the work at the same wage which is about the same as minium wage.

I just did till before. now i get to do till, fitting rooms, and clean the store.

Many might think that the appearance of such material on a workplace monitor would lead to firings or at least a stern talking-to. Promotion demotion

When the boss needs somebody to do a bullshit job such as a task force or any form of employee committee, but doesn't actually have a real charter for it. Since he can't staff it fulltime, he insists being asked is an honor and volunteers you to work after hours and weekends. The task is usually designated a "special project" with all kinds of BS hoopla. It usually involves no additional pay and little recognition. WTF?!

“Hey Shawn. Did you hear Rachel just received a promotion demotion from her corporate office today? The dumb bitch was so excited she didn’t realize all it meant was more work and zero compensation.”
