Vacation time that is spent with family or friends as an obligation.

Instead of taking a nice vacation to a warm beach destination we took an oblication and spent it with family. Yay!

plural noun: (singular: obliviatomiton) Refers to groups of people who walk in public in their own little bubble completely unaware of their surroundings including other people, traffic, the weather, natural disasters, and bears.

I'm late because I couldn't take a left on freakin' Union Ave because of all the obliviati milling about.

The stuff that most Asians are obligated to do. Includes orchestra, debate, piano, rigorous classes, math team and so on.

White kid: Hey Cho, can you hang out after school?
Azn kid: I doubt it. I've got a debate meeting after school, I have to study for an AP Chem test and then I have to go to an orchestra concert.
White kid: Asian obligations, eh?
Azn kid: Yup.
