Montreal Expos

An extinct major League Baseball team that once played at Olympic Stadium in the beautiful city of Montreal.

Montreal is by far a better city than Toronto and the Expos desbite opperating on a fraction of the budget as the Blue Jays still produced interesting and respectable teams. Unfortunately the strike in 1994 pissed off a lot of Montrealers and the team lost their fan base. Many people also blame the inadequate stadium for their demise.

However you look at it, The Expos were a great asset to a great city and it is too bad Montreal has lost that dimension. Nevertheless Toronto is still full of worthless moneygrabing bastards and they will never have a city as cool as Montreal no matter what they do.

Lets go to the big O and see the Montreal Expos beat the shit out of the Braves.

A section in Houston densly populated by theatres, museums, fine foods, upscale shopping, and gay people.

Montrose is well known in the Houston area as being the "gay part of town."

Montreat

A small area in North Carolina. No, not at the beach. It's among the beautiful mountains. A conference where youth groups from all over come together for one week. Some favorites in Montreat:
-A creek you can rock-hop in which feeds into Lake Susan
-A manmade waterfall you're welcome to sit on, or if you're ADVENTUROUS enough, climb underneath!
-Huckleberry's Ice Cream
-The General Store
-The Montreat Conference Center
-The Inn
-The 'clubs' program for kids younger than high school
-Climbing Lookout Mountain to watch the sun rise

Youth groups look forward to that one week in June when they travel to Montreat all year.
Some youth groups have long 8 hour bus rides, some only drive for a few hours, and some actually come from the Carolinas, driving 45 minutes max.

"Yeah, Brynn! I can't wait! Only a few more weeks left!"
"Do you know which house we're staying in?"
"I don't know yet, ask Adam."

Montrose

A small town on the western slope of Colorado. Previously known for the highest teen pregnancy rate and a high level of meth-heads. More recently famous for a seventeen year old girl having her throat slashed in the high school before classes began one day.
People complain about there being nothing to do..but hey, Dennys and Wal-Mart are open 24 hours!!
