Mingus is an adjective that is used when you want to call someone or something silly stupid. It can commonly be used after someone makes a goof or does something annoying. The original mingus is a cat of the internet that looks silly and that is where this word comes from.

Mingus Dew
A reference to Season 1: Episode 9 of Sealab 2021. Murphy is trapped under an evil "Bebop Cola" vending machine. The soda he selected was called Minugs Dew, which probably references the American Jazz artist, Charles Minugs.
