Latte 

Not to be confused with a hot beverage from your local 7-eleven, Latte is a jolly old pooch famed for his service in the royal Australian airforce during WWII. Latte successfully led an air fleet of 2000 fellow comrades to victory over Germany in the battle of Wellington. He led his comrades fiercely, ‘ he believed no poodle shall be left behind’ all 2000 comrades returned home safely. While leading his comrades to victory he performed a rescue mission and successfully evacuated 200 civilians caught in the cross fire. Latte was deemed a hero by the people of Wellington, resulting in the king of Wellington offering his most attractive Daughter Adriennes hand in marriage to Latte. Latte declined the marriage proposal as he believes every female should be able to choose their mate.

On his return to Australia he was knighted as sir Latte lord of the Poodles, shortly after his knighthood Latte returned to his home town of Newstead VIC and straight into the arms of his loving parents Kristine and Dan who missed him dearly and basked in his glory with unconditional love.

‘ Who was that courageous dog who against all odds saved countless lives and led his comrades to victory? Latte is his name of course- the one and only.

Latte-sipping Leftist

A latte-sipping leftist, or simply a "latte-sipper", is a pejorative term that is used to describe a type of socialist who usually lives in the inner city, or one who shares the views of those socialists that do live in such areas. The term comes from the perception of inner-city leftists congregating at cafes and drinking lattes whilst lamenting over societal problems. They differ from other leftists by their anarchy-like mindset and a provocative, aggressive and uncompromising approach to the support of fashionable socio-progressive causes. Notably they perceive themselves as being more open-minded, intelligent and enlightened than everyone else. This mentality is further reinforced if they have a tertiary qualification which is typically, but not always, a university degree in the arts and social sciences. They often are described as being arrogant, abusive, sanctimonious and self-righteous. While usually criticised by conservatives, they are also criticised by other leftists and some in the union movement who label them as elitists. Their focus on socio-progressive and world issues has also seen them labelled as being out-of-touch by those from poorer backgrounds who have more pressing local concerns such as crime, unemployment, health care and the rising cost of utilities. While generally similar in mentality to the so-called "Champagne Socialists", the Latte-sipping Leftists differ mainly in their socio-economic status; they mostly hail from a middle-class background.

It's just so typical to see these latte-sipping leftists shout down and gang up on anyone who disagrees with them.

latte is horse

It seems like it's a grammatically wrong phrase but it is actually Koreanized English term which means "When I was your/at your age" or "during my time". Since "나 때(Na ddae)" sounds like "Latte" and "말이야(Mal ee yah)" sounds like "is (a) horse", Koreans translated these into English in their own way and using the phrase in a daily basis. It is a common phrase used among boomer generations.

The phrase can be used in a satiric way in a certain situation like below.

Youngling: Man, Fxxx this. Can't do this anymore.

Boomer: Son, when I was your age...
Youngling: Sir, I do really respect you in every way but "Latte is horse" ain't work in this situation.
