Hoosiers can often be found walking like they have corn cobs up their butt, or like they have been riding horses all day. They are from hillbilly areas like St. Charles, MO, and have a general lack of respect for social decencies: nose-picking, drunken car stealing, having excessively hairy chests, and gambling in public.

They are very picky eaters.

There appears to be some confusion with this definition. The term "Hoosier" does in fact include West County. A proper definition of "hoosier" is anyone who lives west of 270 or south of Clayton Road. Basically if you dont live in Clayton, U-City, Ladue, or North County, you are a hoosier. Sorry Chesterfield, you guys are big hoosiers.

You don't have to be from Indiana to be a hoosier, but everyone from Indiana just happens to be one.
