gappster (adj/noun): Someone who is caught in the hypothetical purgatory of being simultaneously hipster, hippie, and gangster. Gappster from an adjective standpoint describes someone/something too cool to be labeled as only hipster/hippie/gangster

Egyptian Hipsters. All the dudes in Tahrir square that dress just like the kids in Williamsburg (or Bushwick since most of the people in Williamsburg now are investment bankers or frat boys). Maybe one day they'll be free to not dress like assholes.

Gapster

A person who attempts to appear, act, and advertise themselves as a hipster in a failed manner, normally through the reaching of connective ties by purchasing a closely but not quite similiar styling of clothing through mainstream reatailers like "The Gap."
Gapster are normally looked down upon by all walks, mainly their hipster counterparts due to their attempts at "trying too hard."

A Gapster could be a person in Williamsburg, Brooklyn New York that has recently moved there from Manhattan with a P.H.D. in Pharmaceuticals who attempts to appear unclean and unkempt like his/her peers by wearing fashions pre-made for him/her through a major retailer, instead of not showering and being faux-poor through meticulously careful planning like a normal hipster.

A Gypster is a cross between a Gypsy and a Hipster.
The personality of a Gypster is largely based on their gender. Male Gypsters are more likely to fail in relationships whereas Female Gypsters be some thursty ass bitches who will take whatever comes their way.
