On 13 July 2023, a Slovenian reddit user NibbleMyRectrum asked the American speaking audience in reddit r/NoStupidQuestions what "chamungus" meant which the American and/or Canadian business colleagues kept saying to the Slovenians.

It turned out, they were saying "(It's) Nice to meet you."

US Dude: Chamungus!
