Mars rover sent by NASA to Mars in 2003, which landed at Meridiani Planum. Designed to search for signs of liquid water, especially minerals formed in the presense of water (eg. Hematite).

A circumstance where a rider has an opportunity to get airborne. Most often a feature or landmark that would not normally be used as a launch pad.

I was biking along and saw a loading dock that looked like a great hopportunity.

Unique Opportunity

A deceitful promise of great reward and glory offered to an unfortunate individual to participate in an unpleasant task.

The Unique Opportunity is delivered in such a way as to motivate the individual to see past the cruel and loathsome task ahead.

In most situations, the 'Unique Opportunity' is given by a delegator otherwise known as 'Master'.

The 'Master' is known for his/her dark craft-like ability in deflecting an undesired task to an unforuntate individual in the form of a Unique Opportunity.

Master: Hey David, I have a Unique Opportunity for you! I need you to go downstairs into the cellar and clear up all the rat shit, your efforts will be very much appreciated.

David: (sigh) ok.
