Totally unoriginal, ridiculous fishbowl looking vehicle that is driven by souless soccer moms or sackless males. Regardless of on board options, such as dvd players, xm, game systems, leather or sunroof it will never, ever be cool and has no trade in value.
Ownership basically eliminates regard for any other vehicle on road except your own and includes frequent slamming on brakes for no reason, driving for miles with turn signal on, brake riding, talking on a cell phone while turned around yelling at kids, inability to park straight and driving 20 miles below speed limit in fast lane.

A formerly necessary wagon attached to the back of a train. The brake van was used to stop a train in case of an emergency (such as if a coupling had snapped, and the latter half of the train was rolling down a steep hill). On longer journeys, the brake van served as a temporary residency for the train crew.
Nowadays, most trucks (US:freightcars) are already equipped with brakes so they'll stop automatically should something go wrong. Some trains even have locomotives at both ends, further reducing the necessity of a brake van.

Driver 2: Oi, mate, what're you doing? Gonna rub noses with our train for the day or what?
The guard notices he's still alive.
Guard: *wipes forehead* Phew! Thank God we had a brake van; this could have been quite nasty!

A male under the age of 30 whose primary residence is a van or camper. The male is nomadic and has thus learned to be very charming and sometimes cunning in social situations. Van boys are similar to a backpacker or supertramp in their monetary policy but travel by private vehicle instead of public transport or hitch-hiking.
